Dayton, Ohio (February 14, 2019) – With more than 85 years of experience manufacturing trusted assembly and fabrication accessories, APEX is introducing a new line of fastening solutions for construction professionals.
The new APEX Industrial Tools feature black oxide coating for added corrosion resistance that increases durability and strength for worksite applications. The fastening bits have a modified S2 steel and proprietary heat treat process for maximized life. Optimized tip geometry provides more exact fastener fit to reduce cam-out and promote fastener retention. Contractors will appreciate the high-visibility, long-lasting laser markings that make for fast identification on the job.
The line includes insert bits, power bits, nut setters and bit holders in individual and bulk options. Individual sockets, socket sets, and socket adapters will be added to the product line later this year.
The Phillips® and Torx® screwdriver bits were tested for strength and grip against other brands on the market. The Phillips PH2 bits were tested to 100% proof load and reached over 20,000 cycles, two times better than the competition. The Torx bits reached over 150 in-lbs. torque, 40% increased durability than competing brands.
APEX is a trusted productivity partner on assembly lines due to our product precision and durability in demanding and repetitive applications. Higher durability in fastening tools leads to higher productivity and quicker service to the end customer.
